Playoff Information
With the expansion to 6 teams, SAH has adapted their standard regular season and playoff plans accordingly.
The top 4 regular season teams will qualify for a chance at the Lepeska Cup.
The bottom 2 regular season teams will be given a chance to battle to be the best of the rest.
We feel this plan will make all regular season and playoff games meaningful in order to keep things interesting.
Here's how it's going to shake down: (visual included below)
The top 4 teams will be placed in a seeded bracket
-- Two Round 1 winners play for the Lepeska Cup in Round 2
-- Two Round 1 losers get matched up against one of the bottom 2 teams in Round 2
The bottom 2 teams will play each other in Round 1
They will be matched up with seeded bracket Round 1 losers in Round 2 as follows:
-- Winner plays HIGHEST seeded loser in a BEST OF THE REST game
-- Loser plays LOWEST seeded loser in a LONELY LOSER / TOILET BOWL game
The bottom two teams will each get a crack to get back at one of the top 4 teams in Round 2
